Polysics (or POLYSICS) is a Japanese new wave/rock band from Tokyo, who personally dubs its unique style as 'technicolor pogo punk'. It was named after a brand of synthesizer, Korg Polysix. The band started in 1997, but got their big break in 1998 at a concert in Tokyo. They create high energy music, fusing conventional guitar music, with synthesized and computer generated sound to create a unique mixture of punk and Synthpop, heavily inspired by the American bands Devo and The Tubes, and Japanese bands such as P-Model and Yellow Magic Orchestra.

I love them both very much. It would be awesome if you could upload all of their stuff, but that would be a little tedious so why not upload a favorites compilation? Id say my favorite is rocket or electric surfin, but i havent hraed too much yet so i cant really make a good estimate. But also i love these guys becasue theyer so intense, all of their videos are really cool and theyve got such an awesome image, seriously.

They have a show at the abby pub in chichago in november, and im only about 2 hours from there and ive got a couple of freinds that i could crash with, mmmm road trip anybody??? And lastly it was funny to hear them do 'my sharona' becasue that was such a big song over here, i rember it being used as a promotional song to 'sabrina the teenage witch' good times, good times.
