Lucis Art Serial Number
Here are the instructions from the e-mail I received when I purchased Lucis on 3/15/2007. LucisArt does not self install. MACINTOSH INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS First download and decompress the demo version of LucisArt 2.1 for the Macintosh which is a.sit file. Then with Photoshop off copy the LucisArt plug-in into the filters folder which is under the plug-ins folder in Photoshop. Then open Photoshop and open an image.
Lucis/LucisArt will appear in the filters pulldown menu. When you process your first image you will be asked to enter the serial number.
The serial number activates the demo software. WINDOWS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS First download and unzip the Windows demonstration version of LucisArt 2.0.4. Then, with Photoshop closed, copy the resulting LucisArt executable (lucisart.8bf) and the help file (LucisArtHelp.chm) into the filters folder which is located under the plug-ins folder in Photoshop. Then start Photoshop and open an image. Lucis/LucisArt will appear in the pulldown menu under filters.
When you first process an image with LucisArt, you will be asked to enter your serial number. The serial number activates the suppressed features in the demo software. TECH SUPPORT NOTE: If after you have manually installed LucisArt it does not appear in the drop down menu in Photoshop it could mean one of two things. First it could mean that you installed LucisArt when Photoshop was running. This is easily fixed by restarting Photoshop. If the problem still persists, then it could mean that you have more than one filters folder in Photoshop, and the preferences in Photoshop have not been set to read the filters in the specific filters folder where you have copied LucisArt. You can fix this in one of two ways.

Lucisart Serial Number
Either set the preferences in Photoshop so it will read the filters in the file where LucisArt resides or you can copy LucisArt and the LucisArt help file into every filters folder you have in Photoshop (there are likely to be 2-3 filters folders). It does not matter if you have multiple copies of LucisArt copied into the various filter folders in Photoshop.
